The Concept
After completing my education as a professional travel agent in the German education system, I spent more than 20 years in various positions in international tourism. Through my extensive travels, I had the opportunity to visit, get to know people and experience the cultures of many cities, towns and countries on many continents. |

Important influences in my creative style have been the cultures of countries that don't only use paper and canvas as their substrate.
For example, I discovered paintings on papyrus in Egypt, religious paintings on leather in Mexico, and religious books printed on the leaves of palm trees in India and Sri Lanka. I also came across paintings on leather in Indonesia, paintings on bones in the Phillipines and paintings on the pelts of animals in Africa. |

The Artist
Drawing and painting have been my hobbies since I was a child. I've been pursuing my education in drawing and art for the past 10 years. I've participated in diverse art exhibitions and have created illustrations for various books. In the last few years "Pictures on Leaves" has become my favorite theme. |

Custom, Hand Crafted Pictures
You are welcome to provide your favorite pictures or broshures. You can also choose the size, shape and type of leaf that you would like to use. Portraits: Due to the structure of the images, specifically the upper layer of the leave images, it's not realistically possible to use portraits. Company Logos: Some logos create special problems. Given that, a sketch will be provided to give you an idea of what the finished product will look like before you place an order. I cannot accept returned merchandise for custom designed pictures. |
